Contribute your ideas in our annual reader survey

We're so pleased to announce our 2019 reader survey is now live. Each year, we ask our readers to provide feedback to the Teacher team on the content they enjoy consuming. And, if you're based in Australia, by letting us know your thoughts, you can go into the draw to win a $500 gift card to Readings.

Whether you're a long time avid reader, or have just recently come across Teacher, we'd love to hear from you. What content would you like us to cover in the future? Do you prefer our articles when they're shorter or longer? Or, are you most interested in our videos and podcasts?

Acting on your feedback

Your feedback helps shape our content focus for the coming year. In our 2018 reader survey, you let us know you'd like to see more on the topic of teacher and student wellbeing. This saw us speak to a school leader about how monitoring attendance forms part of their school-wide approach to student wellbeing; and explore the current state of the health and wellbeing of Australia's principals in a podcast episode.

Casual relief teachers (CRTs) told us they'd like content on working as a CRT, so we spoke with three CRTs about their top tips for working in this position.

It was also clear from your survey responses that infographics are a favourite. So, we launched a new infographic format: video infographics. And, most recently, in response to your overwhelmingly positive feedback on our podcasts, we held our first ever live podcast event. Our Deputy Editor, Rebecca Vukovic, interviewed Dr Lyn Sharratt in front of a live audience.

As our readers, you've played a central role in the success of the publication. So, we can't wait to hear from you again this year.
