Orla, a PhD graduate of the University of Sydney, is a researcher currently working with the University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Her current research project focuses on understanding the issues that families face in supporting their child with reading. Orla provides training programs for families, in partnership with school districts and non-profit organisations, to guide them in motivating and engaging children in reading.
